A few days ago, we returned from two wonderful weeks in Colorado.
The trip began with a family wedding and ended with countless memories made in between. We spent time with cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends—sharing meals, stories, adventures, and lots of laughter.
Cousins
What struck me most wasn't the scenery or even the celebrations. It was the gift of uninterrupted time together.
In a world where we often stay connected through texts, social media, and quick phone calls, travel gives us something different. It creates space to truly connect. To share experiences. To be present with one another without the distractions of everyday life.
For our daughter, travel continues to be one of life's greatest teachers. She meets new people, experiences different environments, learns flexibility, builds confidence, and discovers that the world is both bigger and more welcoming than she imagined.
It's one of the many reasons I believe travel is one of the best investments we can make—not just in experiences, but in relationships and personal growth.
