There are destinations that impress you.
And then there are destinations that stay with you.
From what I hear, Guatemala is one of those places.
It's the vibrant colors of the markets. The warmth of the people. The women weaving textiles using traditions passed down through generations. The volcanoes rising above the lake. The fresh local food. The feeling that life moves just a little slower there.
What I love most is that Guatemala invites participation rather than observation. You don't simply visit—you engage. You learn. You connect. You experience a culture that feels rich, authentic, and deeply rooted in community.

In a world that often encourages us to move quickly, Guatemala reminds us to slow down enough to notice what's right in front of us.
What makes this retreat especially unique is the balance we've created between exploration and restoration. We'll spend five nights on the shores of Lake Atitlán, with opportunities to experience local villages, artisans, nature, and culture, while also leaving plenty of room to rest, reflect, and simply enjoy where you are.

To make the experience even more special, guests have the option to extend their stay with two nights in the beautiful colonial city of Antigua. With its colorful architecture, cobblestone streets, cafés, markets, and rich history, it's the perfect complement to our time at the lake.

Many guests come solo, and one of my favorite things about hosting retreats is watching strangers become friends. Single travelers are thoughtfully paired with another guest, creating an opportunity to connect while making the most of our boutique accommodations.
Space is intentionally limited, and I encourage anyone interested to explore the details early.
