Enjoy a weekend in a private hilltop home, situated on beautiful country land, just 20 minutes from San Luis Obispo and on the outskirts of the Paso Robles wine country. Our time will be spent practicing yoga daily, relaxing in the comforts of our hilltop home, enjoying the unspoiled views of the coastal hills, and nourish the body with healthy, incredible meals. Yoga will be lead by Alisha Welch, weaving in her expertise of yoga therapy, energy work and holistic health. We will be fed whole food meals that will embrace the local and seasonal foods. Other activities on the agenda include hiking, farmers market, wine-tasting and a dinner out at our favorite restaurant in town. Join us for a weekend full of all that feeds the soul, you will head home refreshed and satiated.

Alisha Welch is the founder and operator of Mindful Balance Retreats a company that she started in the year 2013 to guide yoga students and teachers on adventurous journeys around the world. With over 20 years of experience traveling all over the planet and a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management from Arizona State University, Alisha is well equipped to guide travelers to the locations of their dreams all while staying focused on her great passion for yoga and wellness.
As a yoga instructor herself, Alisha’s style of teaching reflects upon the many teachers that she has studied with over the past 17 years, offering a varied and challenging practice of strength, stability and focus balanced with mindfulness and meditation. Over the course of her career Alisha has received many certifications that have cultivated her understanding of the health of the body and mind. Alisha has achieved a master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and completed her 1000 hour Yoga Therapy Certification. She has also received many other trainings/certifications including personal training certs from American Council on Exercise and the National Association of Sports Medicine, and yoga teacher trainings from Sivananda Yoga in Woodbourne, NY and Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, CA. As well as a Thai massage certification from the Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
